The interlocal cooperation project “Nison Periplous” focuses on interregional collaboration between the island Local Action Groups (LAGs) of Greece, with a central theme of culture and development. Its main objective is to lay the groundwork for establishing the concept of Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) and connecting it with the island identity, the environment, and the cultural heritage of the Greek islands.

Specific objectives include:

• Highlighting and promoting various forms of cultural and creative industries in island regions of Greece to support local economic development.
• Integrating digital technology into all aspects of culture and the arts.
• Applying technology to monuments (architectural, historical, environmental, and cultural).
• Incorporating culture into the educational process and adopting new methods of empowerment and engagement for young people involved in culture.
• Promoting and enhancing island cultural identity, ultimately aiming to establish the islands as "places of culture and arts."

A total of 24 musician-artists from 8 different regions and 4 islands (Crete, Rhodes, Lemnos, and Evia) participated in the seminar. Representatives were also present from the following organizations:
